I like reading history, so I'm not shocked by the news often. There is one thing I didn't expect about the experience of living through a global economic collapse.

It feels really weird to be watching the collapse on my left still growing and getting worse but be able to look to my right and clearly see the thing that will save us all and how it will save us.

I realize now that my view is similar to those who fled a single country collapse. This is different though. The hurdles to opt out of the collapse have never been lower. No giving up your old life, home, and all your friends and family to become a faceless refugee.

You can buy #bitcoin and have it in your custody and have a #nostr account created all from your phone in less than half an hour. Boom, you just opted out of the collapse of society.

I like your sentiment, but your ability to ‘clearly see’ appears to exceed my own. We seem to be looking at the same things, but they do not provide us with the same vision. I don’t believe opting out is an available course of action. Our only action is to use the resources and tools provided us. Their best use may be to share how to weather the collapse not only with the believers (who I count myself amongst), but with all affected. But share it in the sprite of creating a community of common understanding, it is not secret knowledge.

The people who fled their home country still suffered, but far far less than those that stayed. #bitcoin isn't magic, we will still suffer and see those around us suffer. The pain of late adopters will be multiples worse than early adopters though.
