Looks like you are connected to 19 relays, the global feed downloading everything everyone posted to all the relays can be quite the firehouse of information.
Eventually clients will start giving more filter options, but until then you will likely find yourself encountering all sorts of scam / crazy / porn / foreign language posts.
I like seeing the wide variety, I ignore almost all the posts, but occasionally find someone worth following that otherwise I would never have found!
Jesse what client do you use?
I don’t like putting my private key into any old client, so I primarily use self hosted Iris on my #start9 server and #damus (without ability to use per note zaps) on iOS.
Primal and Snort and various other web clients I use from time to time on the web with getalby extension holding my private key.
I’m putting together a list of my favorite clients. I’ll probably post that with brief reviews of each in a week or two.
