Replying to Avatar HODL

I believe the peak of the American empire is behind us, but I do not believe America will descend into mad max style chaos or become a third world nation at any point.

Most likely we become like Europe. We have a permanent class structure. Some enhanced forms of socialism and we spend the majority of our days seeking pleasure and escapism.

I understand the sentiment. But has helped me in a lot of ways on how to think about politics. Been asleep at the wheel most of my life, so don't really know what to make of a lot of his ideas yet.

It’s possible for states to disrupt existing power structure. And the American south ironically could become the nodes of influence and technology.
