Nostr's strength is that in its decentralization model a single honest relay is sufficient to keep the network alive.

In such extreme cases data loss may occur (although it can be mitigated), but never "account loss" or permanent suppression, as we're used to see with the Fediverse and the Centriverse (Twitter, Facebook, etc).

Both the Fediverse (Mastodon/ActivityPub network) and centralized "plastforms" (Twitter, Facebook, other cringeworthy monopoly wannabes) are constantly dying.

Every time they kill an account it's like an organism with cancer killing one of its own cells.

Nostr may sleep sometimes, but it never dies.
