Ken do not fall in this trap. There is a strong correlation, but correlation is NOT causation. See chart from NOAA over 400k years with decent data. The real point is that there is NOT causation as some times temp leads CO2, sometimes it lags. But if you say there is no correlation id say look for better data.
The Vostok, as well as other ice core drills, have proven to me that there is a strong correlation between CO2 and temperature. Both Mudelsee and Callian et al. showed that "The sequence of events during Termination III suggests that the CO2 increase lagged Antarctic deglacial warming by 800 +/- 200 years and preceded the Northern Hemisphere deglaciation." (Callian). http://icebubbles.ucsd.edu/Publications/CaillonTermIII.pdf (Mundeslsee http://www.manfredmudelsee.com/publ/pdf/The_phase_relations_among_atmospheric_CO2_content_temperature_and_global_ice_volume_over_the_past_420_ka.pdf ).

That's because you are using the wrong science. Fiat science clearly shows the correlation.
