That one of the biggest under the radar issues that many Bitcoiners don’t realize; by worrying and accepting government mandates and regulations, they’ve given permission to central authorities without a struggle.

They’re so used to being told what to do and controlled

, they’re giving up the biggest benefit Bitcoin has to offer; sovereignty.

A bitcoiner doesn’t care about government mandates or regulations tbh. Buy, hodl and spend creating circular economies. Educate people so they realize the alternative is better, faster, harder, smarter.

I’m glad there are some that understand that as a characteristic of the group.

I might take a picture of the conversation and show you but essentially they were talking about how Bitcoin “wasn’t fungible” because government can track you and “blacklist” coins.

And I said that that’s true but only in central authorities sphere of influence. Bitcoin is a closed system outside of the current system. The government can also say that the sky is purple and that their farts don’t stink. Doesn’t make it so.

These folk, in much more trumped up language, began to gaslight me. Stating my perspective isn’t relevant or helpful and that they “didn’t have time for civil disobedience.

It was at that point I realized I was way way wayyy above their heads in terms of understanding.

No flexing by any means but if you think using a separate system of currency aside your nations fiat IS NOT civil disobedience you’re not there yet.
