And the fact is, that Monero (along with Litecoin) has a proven history of beating USD inflation (XMR far better than LTC). Layer Bitcoin outranks both of these by a longshot, but it's popular use as a SoV and it's digital gold narative will ultimately reflect our exact current economic system.
