That's part of my argument but of course that is a risky proposition and precisely what the agents of the State mafia exploit is the natural and very human fear of the unknown and aversion to risk.

In other words, this is an argument that may appeal to a minority of like-minded individuals such as myself, but not something that can be used to sway a majority who can enact a political change.

My preoccupation with healthcare is not specifically moral, by the way. It's 100% practical: we can talk about reducing the size and scope of the State as much as we want, but the fact of the matter is that you can't make a dent in this gigantic behemoth unless you tackle healthcare and retirement pensions.

So I keep trying to find ways to convince people about those two specific things. Which are precisely what even my more libertarian-minded friends can't even begin to fathom.

My friend, I don’t believe we can fix statism from within. A broken system from within a broken system.

It will be quietly destroyed by bitcoin. The money printer is being smashed, and eventually will be a constantly diminishing source of state power. The state will collapse in on itself. The ONLY way to destroy it is getting as many freedom loving people on a bitcoin standard or not. No matter how much they profess to love the state, I’ll wager none of them will voluntarily hand over their bitcoin to support it.
