Anyone remember the #litecoin opendimes? I guess being a self righteous ex-shitcoiner is the same as being an self righteous ex-smoker.

#bitcoin for public saving and spending, Monero for private saving and spending. What's the issue with this?

Every criticism bitcoin maxis level at Monero can be nullified by doing exactly what you say. Save in Bitcoin, spend in Monero. Everytime I bring this up I *never* get a response. Crickets...🦗🦗🦗

It's "my sports team is better" mania at this point. It's emotional knee jerk reactions.

True words. I came to this space in the midst of the ICO boom and steadily kept building on my bitcoin stack, ignoring the shitcoinery whilst remaining curious about #Monero mostly through the email provider Sigaint who were pushing it hard at the time.

The last two years I've become so bored with the mantra of the new bitcoin converts and allocated more and more to #monero as a result. I'm hoping Seraphis actually ships in 2024 and we can remove the last remaining weakness, that being ring sigs.
