So far my experiment running my miners on public pool all set to the same worker name has yielded much faster results than I typically get with Datum. 1.92b difficulty would have taken me several days on Datum and I reached this overnight on Public Pool
No where near as much hash as you but I'm on it!

I already know brotha! Congrats on your Nano 3s, it's a great machine. Got a couple running here. I recently picked up their Q as well which helped boost my hash rate significantly. It's also quiet, has slightly better efficiency and much better price/th. Only problem is running 800-900w continuously on SCE pricing
Ahhh the Q i see. It's a beast but pricey as hell not too mention a hog on electricity

Haha should said worth every sat. The eco setting (800-900w) isn't too bad. But I'm fortunate to have a sunroom with lots of ventilation here so the heat is not a major issue. I've seen people run ducts from the back of the unit out to a window. You could also put a fan behind it and blow out a window. In the winter the heat is a plus
The bigger issue is paying SCE. At .30 to .40 electricity you're looking at about 10,000 sats/day just to run it on Eco mode. I've got solar which offsets it a bit but it's still tough. The heat definitely isn't my main concern
I know but we can run losses that big fatty mines cant. Our profits come from more ideological and psychological ones rather than some numerical nonsense.
💯 That is the reward and the mentality it takes to run these in solo mode 24/7, despite CA's electricital numeric nonsense. Heat is yet another sacrifice but one that is easier to get around for most people. Here is a shot of my setup. I've got a fan right behind the Q directed to another fan at the window. The airflow of the room tends to blow out that direction which helps. If you put it on a desk by a window with a window fan blowing out you'd barely notice the heat. It's nice and quiet too. Noise was always a major concern for me getting into bigger miners as well as 120v compatibility. Canaan nailed it with this

Bigger than most of my computer towers lol but sleek looking and solid. Canaan support is an issue, hope I never have to contact them for anything serious. I reached out about getting a 240v cable and they keep asking for the most irrelevant things. What does my WhatsApp or social media have to do with providing efficient support? Yes, will do. I'm good with the 120v cable just thought the 240v would be slightly more efficient and have the ability to run it. But not worth all that. Hope these machines hold up or Canaan gets it's support together
Best difficulty didn't change all day from my readings this morning so I think setting all workers to the same name is not the way. I'm going back to unique names and will my update with my findings
Best difficulty with unique names on public pool seems to be moving up overnight though not as fast as the initial readings using a single name. But at least it's moving. I do miss the ability to see how many shares I submitted on Datum even though difficulty moved slower
I'm throwing in the towel on public pool for now. No difficulty increases all day. Other the hash rates, no stats or share statistics. Even if Datum doesn't reach high difficulties as quick, I can at least see what's going on. I feel it probably integrates better with my knots node as well. That's my feeling today, will see what tomorrow brings
Today I'm trying all small miners on Public Pool and the Big Boy Q on Datum....see what happens 👀
