Dude where tf do you live? 😅 Was it your trailer? Or an abandoned one you came across with?

I am close to the Mexican border in the sonoran desert. There is no one for miles. With am exception of one neighbor. This place looks like it was abandoned maybe 40 years ago. It's a trip.
Do you use off grid comms - e.g. meshtastic?
Not yet. I have a $25 month plan that is in a phone as a hotspot and have that blocked up to my router with a couple of repeaters. Serves half of our 40 acres with slowish bit perfectly good internet. I want to learn more about the mesh stuff.
That sounds wild man
It really is. It's ridiculous. And I love it so much. It's a key part of my opsec. Even with gps coodernates most wouldnt be able to get to us. We are super hidden and you need 4wd to get here. Non of its in my name. I'm a ghost.
Would really love to see it someday 😁
I'm stuck in the city and I really dislike it.
I grew up outside of cities
Where abouts are you? I spent many years in the big city. Something happened and I got super depressed. I had to leave for my mental health.
I'm from Belgium. I also lived 2 years in Jakarta and I'm very much aware how bad cities are for people. I just know that I have to stack my ass off for another 3-4 years and then I can make a move.
I luckily am hardly depressed, thanks to finding Bitcoin, Nostr and carnivore.
And especially my best friend nostr:nprofile1qqspsjp3x4faxllye0vt45kkh33rwc2aw072ge8dktglgd2eqr85fasppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0gfgnr3.
Community is so important. I have been quite a hermit most of my life. I am learning how much it can help to connect. Quitting weed helps with this a lot.
