Algorithms are evil they turn social networks into news feeds and destroy social relationships

They promote mental illness in individuals and mob behaviour in society

I'll defend ppls freedom to choose that

"Show recent notes ordered by timestamp" is an algorithm. It's basic/stupid, but it is algorithm.

Perhaps everything is a function of time and therefore an algorithm

To make the language more precise maybe "social algorithms" where the parameters are social metrics
