The relationship between employees and employers can only be antagonistic as both sides want different outcomes. A compromise is where neither side is happy is the only “best case” outcome

Disagree. I could be considered an “employer” since I have hire/fire responsibilities, and I want many similar outcomes for the employees that they want for themselves. And we all get what we want by operating as a team to get the job done. If any one of my employees starts acting like a little shit that is attempting to undermine, thru his or her actions, the rest of the team, then yes, our wants are now at odds. In which case, get off our team!

I’m surprised no one immediately responded with “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” with a photo of someone climbing a mountain or something.
