Nextcloud ( as mentioned already) is better than just a family calendar. Imagine a shopping list where you add potatoes to the shop list and your daughter is at the store and sees potatoes on the list. Magic.

ios users and use it with the reminders app

- Best Overall: Nextcloud Calendar (if you’re willing to self-host or use a provider). It offers the most flexibility and privacy for family sharing.
- Easiest to Use: Proton Calendar (if you don’t mind manual sharing setup)
