Show and steady wins the race. Happy new year.
Android usually requires 2 apps, one for sync to NC, and one for contacts. I use
https://github.com/bitfireAT for sync
https://github.com/FossifyOrg/Contacts for contacts
I've had good luck with Shelly devices. https://www.amazon.com/Shelly-Flood-Temperature-Measurement-Automation/dp/B09STPYQP2
Did you try app battery usage unrestricted and disable manage app if unused.
🟢 [ V E C T O R ] Open Beta v0.2.3
Behold, the latest release of Vector Beta in 2025! Additional overhaul of UX improvements, added features, and the first iteration of Vector Web Profiles that function like contact cards via the web.
🧵Updates Below
New:
- 🪪 Vector Web Profiles: you can now share your profile "Contact Card" over the web, with one‑click adding, try this! https://vectorapp.io/profile/npub1gwfpm6l8fhn6rs83j8rjjnjgkdqv89chd2fdhy6zc2uvpuwf39vsfuxxee
- 🎤 Overhauled Voice Messaging: a completely new Voice Messaging experience, with intuitive gestures & sleek UI.
- 📁 Upload Previews: files are now previewed prior to uploading, giving you a chance to review and confirm.
- 🗂️ Image Compression: images are now intelligently compressed before uploading; full‑quality is just a switch!
- 🖼️ Window Persistence: Vector now remembers how you size and position your app.
Improved:
- 🖌️ UI Revamp: a glassy, animated header, redesigned popups, mini‑avatars, group creator UI, and more.
- 💬 Expanding Chatbox: the real OG of this update; your chatbox finally expands to the size of your yap.
- ⚡️ On‑Demand Decryption: Vector no longer decrypts fully at boot, but on‑demand, vastly reducing RAM & CPU use.
Fixed:
- ⚡️ Flashbang: Vector had a brief "white flash" at startup, nicknamed “the flashbang”, this has been resolved.
- 🪵 Fixed Logouts: on some systems, particularly Windows, logouts were failing; this is now fixed.
- 📨 Several Unread‑System Bugs: more reliable read markers and better cross‑device compatibility.
- 📥 Improved Download Stability: attachment downloads are more stable and less resource‑wasteful.
- ⌨️ Removed Search OS Autocorrect: the Emoji Search was often interrupted by OS autocorrect, now disabled.
Huge improvements on Android version. Audio now works. Image upload previews with compression is really sweet. Best of all is the expanding chatbox. Great job 🥳
I haven't found anything good, but there are lots of #farmstead and #homestead.
For a project still in beta, impressive speed and works very well on Android and Linux desktop, once groups work reliably I'm ditching TG and signal.
Linux is the easiest way to extend the life of old hardware, sometimes bringing performance to like new levels.
Your welcome!
There is nothing good from Starbucks. Even their coffee sucks. People just lazy...
A picture of the roof bars might help.
Nah, every 6 months. Get rid of old shit, make room for new shit.

Try Headscale. Headscale is an open-source, self-hosted implementation of Tailscale’s coordination server, allowing you to run their own "tailnet" without depending on Tailscale’s cloud services.
Great idea, I should have made one a long time ago!
Thank you for sharing. Made me smile. It reminds me of something similar I've seen on a walk. It is no longer there but I look for it everytime I walk by.
Awesome to see Vector mentioned. It's still early evelopment but works flawlessly on my SBC. I've been using it as a Signal replacement for family and friends. Once group chats are able to sync between devices Signal and TG are going away.

Rescue Dog Goofyness!
This is what a rescue dog looks like when she is loved.
Your best connection with other seafaring folk would be on the SeaPeople app. https://seapeopleapp.com/
Wing it and then spend the rest of eternity wondering why the fuck I would splurge for good tools when you could do it with the tools you already have #dillema #diy #gsd

The Big Conduit Escapade!
One conduit conquered, dignity slightly bruised, but thankfully back to reasonable-sized conduits from here on out! What an experience!
Just finished installing 3" schedule 80 electrical conduit in a 1-foot wide trench which required a full-body wrestling match, multiple leverage tools and several curse words.

I don't know anything about Venus OS but was going to do Home Assistant automatons for our skoolie. Will check out out tomorrow.

Duress or Decoy pin? When will #Grapheneos implement a decoy pin???

Looks great, keep on keeping on.
Homemade beef chile made with local cow parts and all homegrown ingredients (except for the onions, for some reason our onions did not grow this year).
Many sms apps have the ability to import and export messages.
Nothing special about a toilet paid for in bitcoin, this one was paid for with what many would call shitcoins. Fees approx 1 cent. Probably why the new PEX valve leaked.
