That is how I like to build. If it works I am happy. I still don't have enough electricity being generated yet. Maybe I need to improve my design.

Hi, what’s the purpose of the pannels on the side? Is this south/north Don’t know your location.
There is shading on them. As far as I can tell from the picture they will maybe generate 1/2-2/3 of the possible power. If you want to counter winter. This can be a good method. During summer they won’t be producing much. (If possible you can increase Generation when mounted lower to the ground, only if you can counter shading form obstacles on the bottom.)
How much power do you need?
We are still 3 weeks away from winter solstice. Today I brought in 20 kWh -- mostly from the vertical panels. We live at 56 degrees north. I am all charged (40 kWh) of storage. We use a minimum of 10 kWh per day. In the past we have had 1 meter of snow.
The vertical panels help a lot.
Nice. I have 25kWh diy storage. We already have snow.
From your picture there is not much more you can do if vertical giving you the most power already. Maybe the right side of the house.
Winter is tough. I want to use wood gasification with 4stroke generator for winter month but I have no spare time currently.
It’s been interesting to see the prevalence of renewable energy here in Europe. Just recently Portugal announced they were able to run 100% on renewables. One thing most noticeable here has been windmills. I think a tall windmill could serve double functionality for a farmer as it would allow him to generate additional power but her could also use the high vantage point it creates to monitor his property.
