Podcasting is definitely a skill I want to get better at- I say “like” so often it’s comical.

Also, sometimes I forget how much detail I need to go into while explaining things because people actually know nothing about your life.

I had a friend invite me on his once, but I refused / rejected the idea immediately because idk... I don't like hearing my own voice? I do the like thing but also that fried out uuugghhh. Like, I am smart I swear! I have many degrees and have peer reviewed publications in my field! I just don't sound smart, please let's stay in type format 😭😭😭

Practice makes perfect :) just depends on what type of expression you desire to be good at. I love writing and type format as well, but I’ve always wanted to be better at honing my voice verbally. Such presence, concise eloquence, and power needed !

I admire you for it! Maybe I will start dipping my toes in more. My voice isn't bad, it's just what I got teased over as a kid so it's a sore spot 😞
