It's a form of crowd moderation. Users can flag posts and other users. If an account receives multiple flags, such as for 'hate content,' it will not appear in your timeline. I suppose that's how it works

According to their moderation post they apparently do a lot of filtering beforehand, so we donโt know what or what is not removed ?

Sure, but they also have community reporting to help. This feels like a bot attack vector.
