I have experience with multi citizenship in my family and had similar feelings towards my people and my country. Just try looking rational on this topic, less emotional: Isn't a passport just a document, and we should be open minded towards choosing a more powerful one, which provides more freedom? Example:

Bottom line, a passport comes with benefits and obligations, but it's not necessarily limiting you to a predefined community with particular cultural heritage.
