Don't project your ugly 2 dimensional political NPC ideology onto bitcoin. You are missing the point. It's not about left or right. Up or down.

Bitcoin is post-political.

It's opting-out of the current systems all together.

It's a paradigm shift. It's a forcing function for decentralisation, honesty, reputation, transparency and a return to mutual consensus rules.

agree

Well, decentralisation is very political. No one can convince me otherwise.

My point is that bitcoin introduces a new dimension, and thinking about it in terms of left and right is outdated. The rules are being rewritten and the landscape being transformed.

It is NOT postpolitical, but it is a paradigm shift for sure.

Post- any kind of what people think is "politics" that we have right now though. Its all just kayfabe.

I think the term apolitical is quite helpful because bitcoin doesn't have identity/kyc baked in, but as it continues to gain momentum, there will be an increasing number of VERY political moments, for example:

-wikileaks donation platform

-numerous US administrations denouncing

-persecution of Ross Ulbricht

-China mining ban

-el Salvador resisting IMF et al

-Canada trucker convoy

-Ukraine soliciting for conflict

-Bhutan mining on the sly

-Even the ESG stuff so far is only the tip of an iceberg of what could come

I would agree that left and right labels are fairly useless at this point but global level grinding between USD vs BRICS systems/politics is much more useful to bear in mind

Exactly

Exactly. While I personally resonate with many of the libertarian memes of Bitcoin, it has to be post-political. Itโ€™s shortsighted to want to make people feel excluded people based on their ideologies. If we want Bitcoin to win, it has to be your enemies money too.

This. Always has been money for enemies.

And preferably moving away from the โ€œenemiesโ€ framing all together with the successful paradigm shift.

Bitcoin is for everyone. That's the same meaning, just different framing.

I HATE PROGRESSIVES MORE AND MORE WITH EACH AND EVERY PASSING DAY AND WILL CONTINUE ALONG THIS TREND INDEFINITELY.

THIS IS IRRELEVANT TO BITCOIN.

(BITCOIN IS FOR THEM TOO, I JUST HAVE ZERO INTEREST IN TALKING TO THEM ABOUT IT - OR ANYTHING, REALLY.)
