There's a lot of appealing stuff about Bitcoin. The bitcoiners who are into peace and love are the part that appeal to me the most.

I believe the 60s failed for three reasons:
1. Total moral relativism (postmodernism)
2. Reckless use of psychedelics.
3. No coordinating element.
Bitcoin fixes the third one. Hopefully people can learn from the bad examples for the other two.
Occupy wallstreet had the first and third issue.
The 60s failed because 1970 arrived.
Bitcoin makes war (and other acts of violence against innocent people) unaffordable. Storing wealth in Bitcoin is a nonviolent protest against the government imposed monopoly on money creation.

There will always be small scale conflicts, but the participating parties in the conflict will have to be accountable to the costs of their actions.
There are so many truth bombs in this one quote. That they all appear to be as relevant today as they were 75 years ago when they were written shows that evil naturally finds its way back when left unchecked. Perhaps then, the most important thought here is that we must combat propaganda with truth telling, no matter how revolutionary it seems. Just don’t get caught up in leaping to false conclusions from unspeakable truths. There’s no justification for fomenting hatred against the non-violent.
