One of the main reasons why I retired the moment my daughter was born. And also why even in my most sleep deprived state I still make the effort to journal every single day of her life.

I already can barely remember what happened during the first week of her life(which is only five months ago), because me and my wife were utterly sleep deprived and limped along in total zombie mode. I recently read those early entries again because I wanted to answer a question to a friend who just got a newborn as well and these entries put a big smile on my face.
