Watching the Rose Bowl with my parents and brother. He brought the kinara to our parents house and we all celebrated the last night of Kwanzaa together. #Imani #Faith

Each family does it differently but the general practice is to light the candles, discuss what the principal means to you/how it’ll carry forward in the year ahead, and give respect out loud to an ancestor(s) that either passed in the prior year or has been on your mind in general.

It’s been years since I’ve celebrated Kwanzaa, by myself or with family, so it’s way cool that my brother brought it into #2024. Onward πŸ–€β€οΈπŸ’š
