I didn't think there was anything wrong with the term sats until someone asked about the difference between sats and Bitcoin. The person isnt' thick, but when you say "sats" are like the pennies of Bitcoin. Then they ask why call them sats, and you mention satoshi, and Next thing it's a swamp of info. Bits and Bitcoin now makes more sense.

I wonder if they know why pennies are called pennies because it isn't relevant. Pounds and pennies, bitcoin and sats, it's rather straight forward. You learned it, I learned it and millions of others have learned it, changing it would make all the videos, articles, and books on bitcoin obsolete. 🤷🏻
