Help me out frens.

I'll never stack enough, but I'm happy with my progress/goals.

I haven't replaced my TV in more than 17 years.

-Live a little within reason.

(OR)

-GFY. Stack till we moon.

Full disclosure I'm pondering a bit of a project sailboat too, lifelong dream.

Savings is for emergencies. But also for long term goals

I should have also stated my plan is to NOT spend corn OR stop stacking.

If the TV still works it still works. Wait until it craps out to replace it.

I bought mine on clearance from WalMart in 2009. It's still doing the job. 👍

I am waiting. Just found myself in research mode, trying to get the best bang for my buck.

Slight shopping fever, but the reality is my was a display model in 2007.

Kinda surprised it lasted this long.

Grateful for the encouragement to keep waiting.

I'm due back-commissions. Probably store an amount in Bitcoin until it dies. 🤝

Says something about our modern world that we don't expect to get more than a decade out of our TV and start feeling like it needs to be replaced. I think about getting a new TV sometimes. One that's bigger, thinner, has 4k resolution or a faster refresh rate. But then I'm like fuck that. If I can get 20+ years out of this TV I will. Sad that shit is built to be replaced every 10 years or less and not built to last.

What's a TV?

Good answer.

Wish I didn't have one too.

Maybe when this one dies I'll make my family suffer at least a month and see if we can kick the habit.
