Yes I actually came back to say I totally left out any reduction in heating costs! That will close the gap quite a bit. I doubt it will fully close it with a single space heater in my region, but it certainly makes it a lot closer.

If you're in a studio definitely. I think an s9 is capable of heating a medium-large size room no problem all on its own without supplemental heat. The only tradeoff is how much noise you willing to put up with. I think its relatively equivalent in potential heat output as this larger retail heater I have - and this heater is no slouch. It can heat a large 25 x 30 room with no supplemental heat in the dead of winter.
