This brings up a good point. A lot of the users who comment negative things about Bitcoin probably has 0 Bitcoin and has never used Bitcoin.

Nostr should add an option to add a Bitcoin verified link and badge on our profiles.

How do we become verified? We would have to sign a Bitcoin transaction with a minimum amount of Bitcoin and keep it there. Let's says 100 dolalrs. The transaction would be signed with our Nostr profile public key/username. This would allow us to see if the user at least has some Bitcoin. It would also help with bots and allows us to filter profiles with 0 Bitcoin. Bot farms can't afford 100 dollars a profiles.

On the other hand, you'll constrain the potential user base very hard.

At the beginning yes because a lot of new users are still learning Bitcoin and many don't even know how to sign a transaction but as Nostr gets more popular we will see thousands of bots similar to X.
