I managed to procure a few pawpaw seeds. Anyone have any advice for germinating/planting these? Cheers.

I'm seeing that they need to be cold stratified. Lots of advice on doing that, but this article is about Pawpaws.

Luckily these were stratified. Hopefully I'll be stratified with the germination rate.

I have some pawpaw seeds that I’m trying to germinate. I cold stratified the seeds (perhaps too long but they didn’t dry out) but they are not sprouting. I put them in Solo cups with potting soil and put them under grow lights.

Did you have any luck?

0%. I may not have given then the love they needed. I bought 2 and planntd them though.

I know the seeds should be cold stratified in the refrigerator in a bag with moist peat moss for 4 months. And don’t let them dry out. I hope the two you planted do well. I’ve got two very young trees in my front yard.
