i have this thing where i start painting something for a couple days and then, instead of finishing/perfecting it, moving on to another piece

that’s a good thing tbh, you have a really creative mind then πŸ’œ

is it, bc i feel im not going anywhere by not finishing things πŸ˜•

i usually am more creative during the night, and like seeing things through during early mornings πŸ’œ

what makes you feel that finishing it is so important?

great question actually

imma ponder on that

curious to hear your thoughts later

I like this way of thinking. Exploring creativity > finishing art

hunter-gatherer thinking. ones enjoy seeing things routinely through, others get way more enjoyment out of constantly coming up with new ideas. instead of having shame in it, use it to your advantage πŸ’œ

If I had other easels I'd probably paint three at the same time... I understand you perfectly

Is that fear of ruining your art? That was my case when I draw 😊

but also i want to try something new

a bit of both maybe

Same with music. # of unfinished songs far outweighs the finished ones πŸ₯²

I see the dev graveyard applies to artists too, fascinating

the endless possibilities of the blank page

Here I am, on the road again

There I am, up on the stage

Here I go playin' the star again

There I go, turn the page

Have you tried painting a squirrel 🐿️ πŸ˜…

Jk, I think it’s a feature, not a bug.

same with writing.. not even couple of days; couple of hours ... piles of today

let's goo πŸ˜‚πŸ”₯

I believe that's called attention deficit disorder

omg totally forgot ab that
