Yo, the Laser Academy dry fire training app + a laser bullet is so f'n cool!

App running on your phone stares at a coded target. Watches for red laser flashes. The laser bullet is chambered into the rifle and lights up when it's hit by the trigger mechanism. But it isn't ejected (however, you do have to rack the slide each time).

The laser has some expected misalignment so you calibrate the app to account for it (the dot is pretty low and to the left here, though some of that is my not-yet-zeroed site + short distance, etc).

So now I can practice my technique by shooting down my hallway! Not a replacement for actual range time, but a huge help for a relative noob like me.

The app has a bunch of different drills and there are like 15 other targets. This "Shot From Guard/Low" drill is my favorite so far.

Low key is this a "don't come try and get my #Bitcoin" video, because it's working. 😂

100%!! If I wasn't a public, doxxed Bitcoiner, I'd be much more private about all this. But just sharing this shit on social media is literally my first line of defense. And now everyone knows what my last line of defense is!

💯💯💯

Insanely funny.

For striker-fired pistols you can get a dry fire mag that resets after every trigger pull, so you don’t need to rack the slide. Not cheap, but the least expensive way to practice follow up shots with the laser.

Yeah, I saw there was a $100 Glock mag that would work. I just installed the Glock magwell tonight and will probably end up spending the money.
