Been there, done that....conflicts exists and the truth is illusive....all I'll commit to as an engineer/scientist is that lots of shit doesn't add up so we are definitely being lied to on an EPIC SCALE about "something"...lol
100%. Many things simply cannot be independently verified, but they are definitely lying about so much.
I personally do not believe the globe and heliocentric model any longer. It’s been a crazy journey to arrive at this point.
Everything can be independently verified, it costs a load of money, but it can be done.
The problem is that every time a flatearther finds an uncomfortable truth, either he censors himself, or is ostracized by the "community", or just disappears. It's a cult.

I've probably watched and listened in on hundreds of hours of discussion on the topic. It's definitely not a psyop. If you think it's so easy to disprove, I will send you some sats to go toe to toe with people who immerse themselves in this subject and you can put them in their place.

I'm not pro "flat earth" I'm pro human ignorance....the only true wisdom is knowing we know nothing and the more you advance in physics, mathematics, quantum mechanics, the more you realize we know mostly nothing but have merely become very good at mathematically modeling phenomena for which we do not understand, including but not limited to light, gravity, and magnetism.
True. The current understanding of science is flawed, **because** it attempts to understand everything, which is never possible.
General Relativity is fine for the issue it meant to address. No need to apply to quantum physics, that's a mistake. Newtonian physics is fine for its domain, no need to apply to relativistic domains (what flatearthers do).
The urge to "explain everything" is the human hubris holding Mankind back.
We should focus more on doing rather than "explaining" for the sake of it.
I believe that either through a lack of understanding or even possibly by a higher intelligence of design, we have been taught over simplifications of our existence that contain many inconsistencies, which have never been fully challenged. As humans advance these inconsistencies become more and more troublesome.
There is truth everywhere. And there are lies everywhere.
It boggles the mind.
For example, not wanting to go back to the topic, but just as an example, the Earth is actually flat, as long as you go fast enough in orbit. This all according to relativistic physics. But mainstream science fans will never tell you that, because they don't fully understand it, they focus too much on little details that are easy to grasp.
So yeah, there are crumbs of truth here and there in every theory, in every domain of knowledge too.
Same for religions. Who are the gods and prophets that manifested themselves in the past? People fight over them because of inconsistencies, sometimes just apparent ones. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from miracles, correct? This should be easy to be figured out by the majority, but they're not even close to questioning these things, they only follow "the program".

Look at the trend from the fifties and sixties to this day in science-fiction. What happened? Remember, how we used to dream about encountering all-knowing powerful civilizations ready to share their knowledge with us, interested in our unique features. Time travel. Spiritual growing. Populating the galaxy. Mankind not just down to earth, but down to Cosmos as well, a wise Mankind.
Then after a few decades all we have is butt s3x and drugs in the asteroid belt, galactic mega-covid fearmongering, and every captain is a black lesbian or whore.
What do they mean by this? They want us **out of Space**, they don't want us even thinking about going there, they don't want us **ascending**.
