Exactly!

why are we taking a hard line with the invaded, but not the invader?

why is Ukraine being pressured to stop fighting and make a deal, but Russia isn't bring pressured to leave Ukraine?

Russia guaranteed Ukraine independence and sovereignty in 1994 via the Budapest Memorandum

If Trump wants peace, Russia can leave Ukraine. It's that simple!

Honestly, trump's method here is how you get to peace.

1. The US was essentially funding this war, and unless the US wants to put soldiers directly in the fight Ukraine will never have the man power to beat Russia. Biden took a gambit on the way tanking Russia's economy, and he was way wrong.

If you keep going, the only thing that happens is that the United States funds a was until there are no Ukrainians left

2. Russia has a shitload of nuclear weapons, and a leader who doesn't seem all that afraid to use them. As much as that sucks, you have to be careful about you deal with that

The real way to peace is dealing with Russia, not funding Ukraine's impossible chances.

You just said it: the real way to peace is dealing with Russia

Deal with Russia and the war ends! Forcing Ukraine to make concessions so that Russia will agree to a cease fire is a joke. Russia is already in violation of an agreement it made with Ukraine in 1994 - what good is another agreement?

Stop aid, fine. But let Ukraine decide when to stop fighting. They're fighting for their life!

They will never learn, woken up from western psyops and fallen into deeper sleep with eastern psyops.

That's the trap they don't get out of, because the western governments lie, all the rest must say the truth and everyone who disagrees is a western propagandist.

I even believed Russias Propaganda at the start of the war, but I spent time looking sober into it and saw it all fall apart over the years

Still afraid of Russias Nuclear Arsenal? Like literal 40's technology?

That's why you'd bend the knee to an authoritarian and sacrifice your family because little man has bad red button?

The Ukrainians will be killed anyways, you think they are afraid from nuclear weapons?

Come on now

Who says they are still old tech? They have more advanced fighter jets than the US now, as well as better hypersonic misslee they can carry decent payload.

There is tech out there that renders nukes obsolete, it's a L/L situation and Putin would never take that risk.

I doubt your information aswell but I can not verify it.

Interesting. A 70+ year old that gets backed into the corner? Not so sure.

100% sure Putin is not delusional, he just got lied to by his Military command.

If the war ends tomorrow Putin is done, if he shows weaknes he gets eaten by the wolfs behind him

It will be over in a month or two and he will gain the eastern territory.

They have been crushing Ukraine lately in typical Russian fashion, with many deaths for land.

So I don't think it really matters.

And then what?

But I agree

The world goes back to normal like always after a war?

Zalensky has an election and loses?

No idea.

I honestly don't care what happens, but I'm general Russia is by far a bigger trade partner for the US than Ukraine will ever be, nevermind a global energy and minerals powerhouse.

Ukraine provides grains for Europe, but very little for the US. A tiny trade partner and now, a clearly one sided partner.

Interesting that sweden and finland's nato memberships are off no concern all of a sudden, or will they be liberated next?

You think all the threats made against europeans will be just forgotten because another clown entered the circus in the US?

The Ukrainan People will just take it and bend the knee?

Who will certify the taken territory?

Who will set the borders?

Who will control the borders?

What tradepartner is israel exactly that they deserve the US financial support they are getting opposed to Ukraine under Trump?

You don't have to even answer one of these questions as I'm tired of these pointless discussions anyways.

See you tomorrow, gn.

I'll just answer the Israel one, not that I feel you will care, but rather the facts should be known. Up until this latest round of funding(post Oct 7), Israel is a major trade partner.

Pre covid, 2019, Israel had 10x the trade with the US that Ukraine did. Roughly 35B to 3.6B.

The 3B or so we have been giving Israel for the past 20 years is half dome defense(which is actually us made goods), and the other half is economic for trade, bonds, travel and spending on US goods.

So ... Yes, I'd say they are a much better partner

But yes, I also believe we shouldn't be picking and choosing winners, defending, giving aid and economic bucks.

But if we are going to, I'd rather do it with a decent trade partner, not one who literally provides us with 2 billion per year olin imports and a billion in exports. Especially when some of it is grain and directly messed with our own grain production.

Just my opinion though. Unfortunately, trump zalensky or Putin give a shit about what I think 😂

"If you keep going, the only thing that happens is that the United States funds a was until there are no Ukrainians left"

If you have ever listened to what the going russian narrative is, it is ethnic cleansing and the erasure of ukrainian identity all together, they made this very very clear over a span of years now
