I’ve tried to used “repost” button as my open bookmarks collection for things I want to show others IRL someday.

I use “like” button when I want the poster to know someone out there read it and thought about it. Not worth much, I agree, but still an acknowledgment that I stopped to read it.

“Zaps” are the next step in the evolution of engaging with digital content because it’s a “like” plus an itty bit of cheddar letting the poster know I’m picking up what you’re putting down.
