They're probably going to discourage other users from joining the game. It'll be a head-to-head game and they'll end up splitting the pot, meaning they'll basically just get their money back. They should have gone slowly and got some more users in the game.
Yeah, there's multiple ways of going about it. Makes it quite interesting. Every epoch will likely be different. There's still a minimum ticket of 1 for all players, so smaller hashrates could get lucky and make a profit, maybe..?
