Oh sick!

easier? no way I'm remembering more then ... well ... one 😂

I actually memorize a bunch of passwords and phrases like this. This will get my count higher so certain wallets or services I can get into without always needing my password manager.

Dope! Is it more secure than alphanumeric + symbols?

I like the idea of coming up with a “passphrase” and then replace some letters with numbers, symbols and CAPS. Not that hard to remember 10-15 characters that way.

Yes, passphrases are more secure. You separate the words with a symbol (bitwarden default is a dash) and since most sites require a number, you can just add a random single digit number to any word. BUT, you should not be trying to remember your password. Every place you use a password should have a unique one. That’s why you need a password manager like VaultWarden.

or just roll 55 bits, right?

Sure and then convert to seed phrase. Either accomplishes the same thing. The idea is to just have words in my passphrases instead of a ton of random numbers, letters, and symbols.

i could see the bip39 list being used for this more widely

Very nice!

I have built something similar with using dice and as list of words. The result is a passphrase of 12 words.
