I got him in the desert and guided some upland hunts. Not water yet but that’s the plan. Hopefully the old dog can learn new tricks.

If you havent read it Wildrose Way is pretty interesting on training for water and pointing. Of course they do assume youre starting with a puppy.

Thanks, I’ll check it out. I started with Tom Dokkens so he has a decent base level to pick up from.
