I understand why I can mix coins. To kinda preserve privacy. But indeed, why would I remix constantly?

Increase the difficulty of traceability.

And when it's free, the question then becomes "why not?".

So you just have an amount of #btc out there mixing 24/7?

I switch out UTXOs every few months.
