Howdy Ranch Family 🤠

Tonight’s Ranch Office meeting was supervised by the one and only Katzing, my lil one-eyed barn queen 👸 herself — and let me tell you, she took it very seriously. I was just trying to check the weekly list, and she acted like the head of HR… leaning in, inspecting every name, and demanding payment in treats. Life with a barn cat boss keeps me humble, I promise you. 😄

But while she was making sure everything was in order, I was reminded of something important:

Another week riding together, and I just want to say a big heartfelt thank you to all of you. Every like, every comment, every smile you leave under a post — that’s what keeps this place alive. You make this ranch feel like home, also to the new people that come in, and I appreciate each one of you for showing up strong with so much heart. ❤️

Before we get to the weekly tradition of shouting out last weeks Top Engagers, I have BIG NEWS 📣 for you: Some of you saw your Top Fan Badge turn into a Ranch Family Badge this week. Facebook had been nudging me for months to rename the badge, and when I finally typed in “Ranch Family,” it just felt right. Seeing it go through last night felt like the community stepping into its real name.

But on the other hand it breaks my heart 💔 for those of you who lost their badge for no reason! We have so many people, also on the list, that lost their badge though being still top engagers! I told them to fix this and make the top fan system way more accurate (or give me, as the creator, the possibility to pick people and give them a badge, since we’re already able to take badges away, why not being able to give them out? I still see the family member badge over your names, so don’t worry, I know who you are and I appreciate each of you! But I can understand if it bothers you, if you count yourself to these folks, here’s my two cents:

If you lost your top fan badge for no reason, reach out to the facebook support and report the problem! Tell them you’re on the weekly topengagers list of a page and lost your top fan badge! Make a noise! Be a community, just don’t give them a break, don’t stop reporting! The system glitches a lot, I think it is a glitch - so stand together and drown them in your problem reports! Just shake your phone while your on my page to report that problem!)

• And about comments: Facebook limits how many replies I can make per day. So I save my ammo for the comments that truly engage with the post — not just a “Hi,” “Hello,” or “How are you?” I always try to answer the ones with heart, thought, or a little story in them.
