I just watched this guy talking about how much $ musicians/artists on music streaming platforms. All I kept thinking was, this is old hat… He should talk to nostr:npub18gp8p84hjmjh9zejdlyqqcg22sj6x3qra0q2ng4v6cxxg95sav8q0mcg5e and nostr:npub19ha7tju4teqp3dmwv4p28wrcy9zd6h6hxkg5mwvjrlfycweazpkse2q0fa they’re playing music, paving a new way and getting those #sats #bitcoin to directly to the artists and musicians.
I can't even imagine how much flak an established artist would get for trying to upload something to v4v. Some of them have probably signed away rights to future works, assuming that's legal.
I once heard Mike Rowe talk about some of the contracts he signed with Discovery that even gave them rights to distribute his work on other planets, if the opportunity ever presented itself. lol
