How does one enact / declare / execute (whatever the right word is) this in today’s system?

Just stop paying on a debt 🤷‍♂️

Legitimately asking; what would this look like practically today?

I have no clue tbh. I would not be surprised if we saw that as an incentive to crossover to using a government approved stable coin. 10 year time horizon

I think perhaps a better question is: While debt Jubilee was every 7 years, that was old covenant was it not?

If we are under a new covenant (which we are through Jesus' death and resurrection) and essentially his greatest command was to "love one another (as yourself)"; is NOT paying a debt actually loving the other, in particular if they are one's enemy?

Of course then I try to weight all of this against a broken monetary system and if something is designed or maintained (whether by intention or ignorance) to keep us enslaved; do we have an obligation to pay back debt under said system?

...all thoughts and questions to seek Holy Spirit with for guidance!

I know for us, we don't love debt especially consumption based. Yet we have some. (We also have productive debt). The goal with both was never to take money and not repay. So in that respect we should repay. Otherwise it might as well be theft on our part.
