I have always found it very naive from people to think that a company, no matter how well-intended, could resist government pressure. The moment you start a company, you put yourself into a disadvantageous position towards the State.

I think a recent example of this is when governments around the world closed businesses and forced them to scan vaccine passports if they wanted to reopen.
