I fucked up. Had some clean Bitcoin but was keeping clean and KYC in different addresses in the same HWW and once accidentally combined the wrong UTXOs in sparrow wallet. The wallet chose those UTXOs on it's own and I didn't notice and correct it. So now the whole stack is no longer clean because it's associated with the KYC stack from that one transaction that I sent to my kids.

This is where the monero boys make good points about how ez it is to fuck up Bitcoin privacy

Is it still an issue if you’re always using unique addresses, and only after coinjoin?

We also need to embrace the legalization and full embrace of the right to hold and use bitcoin. Right to privacy, sure, but many of us are non-digital tech and the KYC bitcoin UX is already tough enough.

The chance of “our government” not allowing us to own and manage our own property (protected by the constitution) without their oversight is unacceptable. It is worth fighting the system, even as simply as using the existing system (SCOTUS).

Good news is many states are starting to see this…and will check federal bureaucratic overreach (ex: WV vs. EPA). Furthermore, the federal government will not be able to afford proactive enforcement once bitcoin brings competition to the dollar in earnest. Fiat behaviors and activities get demolished.

BTC is savings, XMR is checking.
