I set up metrics for #Mostr. This will be very helpful.

Now I have to wait a few hours for them to populate. But my preliminary thought is that we have a suspicious amount of 404s, and I had to kick the relay to get it start producing events for the bridge again. So the strfry relay itself is a major problem of this bridge.

Also it's interesting that in both ActivityPub and Nostr, people write posts more often than they Like/React to posts, which goes against the conventional wisdom.

What all do you consider a reaction? And aren't all the more impactfull interactions like comments, shares/boosts and quotes technically posts?

That does seem weird to me, too, and when I look at my timelines on both, they don't seem to support that fact. However, people on Nostr definitely don't interact with my bridged posts usually. So I think this might only be true for bridged accounts, but not for the native ones on both sides. 🤔

Could the post numbers be inflated by spam? Spammers blast posts and DMs, but not many react to posts.

and if you ever want extra load, i can turn back the part of a pleroma module that tries to fetch every single kind1 event it sees

works great to pick up activitypub likes/reacts going across the bridge that AP relays can't deal with, but mostr as a centralized thing overloads too easily

We need decentralized Mostr. Mini-Mostr module for Ditto.
