Fun fact: my sovereign farming adventure started with quail in the backyard. Will never do that again.

Quickly moved on to being a rogue suburbanite raising backyard chickens in violation of the local ordinances. Quickly outgrew my resource base and moved rural.

I really wanted to see more of this in the city, but I don't have much hope. I think everybody will either give up or move in time.

Yes, there has been a wave of ordinance changes to allow more of this behavior but it seems to have quieted down.
