Weirdly enough today I got a friend asking me to invest on poultry
Wasn't the problem some kind of disease? Do backyard chickens have the disease?
Bird flu. Statistics show it hits industrial poultry barns more because of their filthy environments relative to small backyard flocks that get fresh air and are well cared for.
Note: backyard flocks in crappy living conditions would be no better off than industrial poultry facilities.
Fun fact: my sovereign farming adventure started with quail in the backyard. Will never do that again.
Quickly moved on to being a rogue suburbanite raising backyard chickens in violation of the local ordinances. Quickly outgrew my resource base and moved rural.
