Isn't that the phone that isn't open source, as in the binaties can't be built / replicated?

Haven't watched, I won't watch if the tech isn't open source as that's an obvious honeypot for governments.

Just looked at the site: yep, no mention of code being open and "how can you trust us" question is answered by "we are verified by experts".

yeah, unfortunately. if they had a github or can more info, it'd have more of a selling point.

You can get phones with physical switches, no need to use a phone that comes with proprietary OS and very little userbase for hacks/rooting help.

Fairphone with graphene is still a good option, or volla phones . has to be open source or else you have no idea what is going on in there.
