difficult to discuss the meaning of it all without actual discussion. one thing about feynman - he conversed with everyone, without restriction. he was able to explain complexity, simply. a philosopher capable of speaking science as a language.

Who is he?

who is richard feynman? he is much like a man i grew up knowing: a soldier, one of the most decent men you would ever meet, brilliant scientific mind but discussed with the heart. more of a father figure to me than most other men i ever knew; he is in his 80s; he quietly adopted me into his fold about 25 years ago. feynman explained the universe in terms of the observable. he spoke child.

the importance of it all. 🤭

literally nothing happened. 🤣😂😉

Feynman, one of the greatest!

🧊.

Feynman is just fantastic. I've read all his books many years ago, and many books about him after that. One of the best lecturers we ever had.

The most mysterious constant in physics, according to Feynman. 1/137 — a hint that geometry exists in electromagnetism.

When people think of modern scientific geniuses, names like Einstein, Hawking, and maybe to a lesser extent Tesla come up. Feynman doesn't get nearly the love that he deserves. Arguably he unofficially birthed the computer revolution with his lecture "There's Plenty of Room At The Bottom" - and the world today is indistinguishable from that 30 or 40 years ago.
