I got this feeling that the government is now extremely warry of bitcoin. They know, if they play too much with the interest rate lever, people will tend toward bitcoin and other hard assets. We just need another economic meltdown and some eyeballs on bitcoin's price/inflation for adoption to start going mainstream.

They can't afford any error.

I can see the fear in Powell's face.
