I live in a somewhat rural area. As of this weekend, Amazon orders are arriving same day *on the weekend*. I guess they recently opened up some kind of distribution hub or something?

It feels insane to order something in the morning and have it arrive by 4pm.

Is this what city life has been like recently? I'm almost a decade out of the city game.

you're going to have to decline somewhat rural

Town of ~15,000 population, spread out far, lot sizes around a handful of acres on average. Many farms. Neighboring towns are mostly smaller or similar, nearest "big city" is 190,000 people, about 45 minutes away.

Boston is about 1.5 hours away.

Not VERY rural, but I do have to drive 20 minutes to a grocery store (and 2 minutes to a farmer's market)

east-coast roger that makes sense now
