Not only do we need do decentralize the network protocol layer of data transmission (Nostr does this well)

We also need to decentralize physical network infrastructure

As in the physical internet needs to be owned by the people

I’ve seen some LoRaWaN content here which is afaik the most promising path

Future looks bright
